Abstract
U ovoj doktorskoj disertaciji analizirana je odbačena proizvodnja hibridnih elektrana koje se sastoje od vjetroelektrane (VE) i sunčane elektrane (SE) instaliranih snaga >1 MW/1 MWp, uslijed ograničenja priključne snage. Proizvodnja VE i SE karakterizirana je naglim fluktuacijama koje se primjenom niskih vremenskih rezolucija poput 1 h ne mogu uočiti, zbog čega se proračunom odbačene proizvodnje primjenom niskih vremenskih rezolucija podcjenjuje stvarna odbačena proizvodnja. Analiza odbačene proizvodnje provedena je pri različitim vremenskim rezolucijama proizvodnje VE i SE, s obzirom na omjer priključne/instalirane snage, udio SE u hibridnoj elektrani i veličinu hibridne elektrane. Na temelju istraživanja fluktuacija snage VE i SE, zaključuje se da je primjena klasičnih modela VE i SE za analizu odbačene proizvodnje opravdana samo pri nižim vremenskim rezolucijama (10 min) jer ne uvažavaju efekt poravnanja. Stoga je predložen specijalizirani model hibridne elektrane koji uvažava efekt poravnanja i omogućava precizniju procjenu odbačene proizvodnje, a time i istraživanje utjecaja veličine hibridne elektrane na odbačenu proizvodnju. Rezultati istraživanja daju preporuke o adekvatnoj vremenskoj rezoluciji s kojom je moguće ostvariti precizniju procjenu odbačene proizvodnje u hibridnim elektranama.
Abstract (english)
In this doctoral thesis, the curtailment losses in hybrid power plants (HPPs) consisting of wind farm (WF) and solar PV power plant with installed capacities >1 MW/1 MWp have been analysed considering grid connection limit. The power output from both WF and solar PV is characterized by abrupt fluctuations, which cannot be detected when applying low time resolutions such as 1 hour. This leads to the underestimation of the actual curtailment losses when such resolutions are used. The analysis of curtailment losses has been conducted across different time resolutions for WF and solar PV production, considering the ratio of grid cut-off power and HPP installed capacity, the share of solar PV in the HPP, and the size of the HPP. Based on the study of power fluctuations in WF and solar PV, it was concluded that the use of conventional WF and solar PV models for the analysis of curtailed production is justified only at lower time resolutions (>10 min) as conventional models do not consider the smoothing effect. Therefore, a specialized model of the HPP has been proposed that accounts for the smoothing effect. This provides a more accurate estimation of the curtailment losses and provides insight into how the HPP size influences these losses. The research results offer recommendations on the appropriate time resolution for accurate estimation of curtailment losses in HPPs.
