Abstract
Stabla podataka mogu spremati podatke na sortirani način. Brzina pristupa elementima stabla u prvom redu ovisi o visini, tj. o tome koliko skokova treba da se od korijena dođe do dna stabla. To omogućuje stablima brzi rad s velikim količinama podataka, s jedinom manom da su teška za implementirati. Prema istraživanju provedenom u ovom radu, čini se da su s ogromnim količinama podatak neka stabla ipak bolja od drugih. AVL stabla rade puno brže, ali zbog ponavljajućih elemenata ni kosa stabla nisu loša. U provedenom istraživanju 50 stabala su se punila s 250 000 nasumičnih elemenata iz raspona od -250 000 do 250 000. Najviše se analiziralo aritmetička sredina umetanja 250 000 elemenata, pretraživanja 100 000 elemenata, brisanja 100 000 elemenata te visine stabala prije i poslije brisanja, ali postoje podatci o modulu i modu.
Abstract (english)
Data trees can store data in a sorted way. Their speed primarily depends on their height, or how many jumps do they need to reach the bottom of the tree. This allows trees to quickly work with large number of data, but their implementation is difficult. According to this experiment, it seems that with huge amount of data some trees are indeed better than others. AVL trees work much faster than expected, but because of repeating elements the splay trees aren't that bad either. In this research 50 trees were filled with 250 00 random numbers from range of -250 000 to 250 000. Most analysed was the arithmetic mean of 250 000 insertions, 100 000 searches, 100 000 deletions and also tree heights before and after deletions, but there is also data about modulo and mod.
