Abstract
Hrvatska je 2022. usvojila strategiju za vodik do 2050. godine koja će pridonijeti ostvarenju postavljenih ciljeva za smanjenjem štetnih emisija te otvorila mogućnost za širu primjenu vodika u gospodarstva. Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se primjenom gorivnih ćelija na vodik za pogon putničkog broda. Analizirani su brodski energetski sustavi s posebnim naglaskom na hibridne sustave sa gorivnim člancima koji koriste vodik kao gorivo i baterijom. Prikazan je plan rute za jedan hibridnog energetskog sustava broda sa zadanim profilom opterećenja koji je sastavljen od gorivnog članka i baterije kao izvore energije. Kao dokaz pozitivnog utjecaja hibridnog energetskog sustava na okoliš određen je EEDI indeks usporedno za konvencionalni i hibridni energetski sustav. Primjenom AVL CRUISE M programskog paketa izrađen je model hibridnog energetskog brodskog sustava. Simulacijama u navedenom programskom paketu na modelu optimirane su dimenzije glavnih komponenti.
Abstract (english)
In 2022. Croatia adopted a strategy for hydrogen until 2050, which will contribute to the achievement of the set goals for reducing emissions and open the possibility for a wider use of hydrogen in the economy. This thesis deals with the use of hydrogen fuel cells for the propulsion of a passenger ship. Ship energy systems were analyzed with special emphasis on hybrid systems with fuel cells that use hydrogen as fuel and a battery. The route plan for a hybrid energy system of a ship with a given load profile composed of a fuel cell and a battery as energy sources is presented. As proof of the positive impact of the hybrid energy system on the environment, the EEDI index was determined in comparison to the conventional and hybrid energy systems. By applying the AVL CRUISE M software package, a model of the hybrid energy ship system was created. The dimensions of the main components were optimized by simulations in the specified software package on the model
