Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu provedeno je istraživanje o materijalima za skladištenje toplinske energije, sa naglaskom na materijale za skladištenje latentne topline. Istražene i opisane su podjele fazno-promjenjivih materijala, sustavi koji se sa njima koriste, kompatibilnost materijala sa tim sustavima, ekonomski aspekti, primjena fazno-promjenjivih sustava, te dodatci sustavima koji poboljšavaju sveukupne performanse. Jedan tip dodataka i analiza njegovog učinka na poboljšanje sustava za skladištenje latentne energije poslužio je kao inspiracija za eksperiment proveden u sklopu rada. Za potrebe eksperimenta, u programu SolidWorks, dizajniran je dvo-konfiguracijski sustav za skladištenje latentne topline te izrađen 3D printanjem. Spojen je na sustav koji uključuje protok tople i hladne vode, odnosno faze punjenja i faze predaje energije. Testiran je u oba režima rada te su iz toga izvedeni zaključci o reaktivnosti i performansama pojedine konfiguracije latentnog skladištenja topline.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, a research on thermal energy storage materials was conducted, with an emphasis on latent heat storage materials. The division of phase-change materials, the systems used with them, the compatibility of materials with these systems, economic aspects, the application of phase-change systems, and additions to systems that enhance overall performance are investigated and described. One type of additions and analysis of its effect on the enhancement of the latent energy storage system served as inspiration for the experiment conducted as part of the thesis. For the purposes of the experiment, a two-configuration system for storing latent heat was designed in SolidWorks and created by 3D printing. It is connected to a system that includes the flow of hot and cold water, ie. the charging phase and the energy transfer phase. It was tested in both operating modes, where conclusions were drawn about the reactivity and performance of each configuration of latent heat storage.
