Abstract
U ovom završnom radu opisano je zašto je vodik atraktivna alternativa sadašnjim gorivima. Jedna od glavnih prepreka s kojim se susrećemo kada vodik promatramo kao gorivo je nemogućnost učinkovitog skladištenja. Trenutno su nam dostupna tri načina skladištenja vodika, a to su: skladištenje komprimiranog vodika, skladištenje tekućeg vodika, skladištenje vodika u metalnim hidridima. Svaki od ovih načina skladištenja ima neke svoje prednosti i mane. Postoji još puno prostora za napredak i istraživanje pojedinih metoda, osobito skladištenje u metalnim hidridima budući da metoda komprimiranja ima problem velikih tlakova, a metoda tekućeg vodika ima problem ogromne potrošnje energije na snižavanje temperature oko 20 K.
Abstract (english)
This Final Thesis describes why hydrogen is an attractive alternative to current fuels. One of the main obstacles we face when looking at hydrogen as a fuel is the inability to store it efficiently. Currently, we have three ways of storing hydrogen: compressed hydrogen, liquid hydrogen, hydrogen in metal hydrides. Each of these storage methods has its advantages and disadvantages. There is still a lot of space for improvement and research of certain methods, especially storage in metal hydrides, since the compression method has a problem of high pressures, and the liquid hydrogen method has a problem of huge energy consumption to lower the temperature around 20 K.
