Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu objašnjena je potreba spremnika energije kao sudionika elektroenergetskog sustava, te njihov način upravljanja. Današnja proizvodnja električne energije teži što većoj upotrebi obnovljivih izvora energije koji su još uvijek nepouzdani i nestabilni. Upotreba baterijskih spremnika energije omogućilo bi njihovu implementaciju u opskrbu. Drugo poglavlje opisuje obnovljive izvore energije koji se koriste, a treće poglavlje općenito baterije i njihova svojstva. U četvrtom poglavlju su navedene i objašnjene funkcije koje baterijski spremnici mogu izvršavati u on-grid i off-grid područjima. Objašnjen je nadređeni sustav upravljanja pomoću PLC-a i svrha BMS-a u ovakvom sustavu. Peto poglavlje prikazuje shemu ASPEMS BESS sustava i upravljanje u njemu, te način na koji je ostvarena komunikacija unutar kontejnera. Prikazani su i primjeri panela i upravljanja pomoću istoga. Posljednje poglavlje ukratko objašnjava trenutne trendove u području razvoja baterija i predviđanja budućnosti za daljnji razvoj BESS-a. U zaključku je iznesen osobni stav o baterijama i njihovoj ulozi u elektroenergetskom sustavu. Dan je osvrt na rad i razlozi zašto bi se trebalo ulagati u razvoj baterijskih spremnika i njihovu implementaciju uz proizvodnju i opskrbu električne energije.
Abstract (english)
This thesis explains the need for energy storage as part of the power system and its way of management. Today energy production is trying to implement renewable energy sources as much as possible, but they are still quite unreliable and unstable. The use of battery energy storage can make their implementation in power systems possible. The second chapter describes the types of renewable energy, while the third chapter is about batteries in general and their characteristics. The fourth chapter deals with a wide range of energy storage applications at all levels of the electricity system, both on-grid and off-grid services. It explains the control using the programable logic controller PLC, and the BMS role in this sort of system. The fifth chapter shows the scheme of the ASPEMS BESS and its management as well as the communication inside the container. It shows, as well, the options of management from the panel screen inside the container. The last chapter shortly describes the current tendency of developing new battery technologies, as well as the further expansion of the battery energy system storage. In conclusion, a personal opinion is given about batteries and their part of the electrical system. It is given the review on the thesis and the need for investing in the development of battery energy storage.
