Abstract
The topic of this thesis was the creation of an application for checking the mobile driver's license. One device has stored mobile driver's license (mDL) within the application, while the other device (mDL Reader) has an application that would check the validation and authentication of the mDL. Currently, only Offline data transfer methods are implemented, such as BLE and NFC. The plan is to upgrade the connectivity to Wi-Fi Aware as well as implement Online data transfer methods that would retrieve mDL data from the Issuing Authority's server. A BLE connection is established via a QR code that the mDL Reader scans from the mDL. The BLE method has two modes of operation, central and peripheral mode, and the difference is in the role of advertising and in who will start connecting first. Both modes are implemented on both the mDL side and the mDL Reader side so they can be compatible no matter which device uses which mode. NFC transfer is also implemented which also begins after scanning the QR code. NFC supports two connectivity modes, Static Handover and Negotiated Handover. Authentication methods for both devices are also supported so that each party can be sure that the device they are connecting to is valid. When the data is transferred, it is necessary to check the data which is done in a way of comparing the generated signatures and thus validating the driver's license.

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je izrada aplikacije za provjeru mobilne vozačke dozvole. Jedan uređaj ima pohranjenu mobilnu vozačku dozvolu (mDL) unutar aplikacije, dok drugi uređaj (mDL Čitač) ima aplikaciju koja bi provjerila valjanost i autentičnost mDL-a. Trenutno se primjenjuju samo izvanmrežne metode prijenosa podataka, poput BLE i NFC. U planu je nadogradnja povezivanja na Wi-Fi Aware, kao i implementacija internetskih metoda prijenosa podataka koje bi dohvatile mDL podatke s poslužitelja ovlaštenog tijela. BLE veza se uspostavlja putem QR koda koji mDL Čitač skenira s mDL-a. BLE metoda ima dva načina rada, centralni i periferni način, a razlika je u ulozi oglašavanja i u tome tko će prvi početi povezivanje. Oba načina su implementirana i na strani mDL-a i na strani mDL-a Čitač tako da mogu biti kompatibilni bez obzira na to koji način se izabere. Također je implementiran NFC prijenos koji isto započinje skeniranjem QR koda. NFC podržava dva načina povezivanja, statičku primopredaju i ugovorenu primopredaju. Načini provjere autentičnosti oba uređaja također su podržani tako da svaka strana može biti sigurna da je uređaj s kojim se povezuje ispravan. Prilikom prijenosa podataka potrebno je provjeriti podatke što se radi na način da se usporede generirani potpisi i na taj način potvrdi vozačka dozvola.
