Abstract
U sklopu ovog završnog rada obrađen je programski jezik Python i njegov rad sa Selenium automatizacijskim alatom. Objašnjene su osnove Python programskog jezika od varijabli do klasa i objekata kao i Selenium automatizacijski alat, njegova upotreba, sintaksa, instalacija i metode. Na kraju rada je prikazana aplikacija za automatizaciju testiranja Reddit internet stranice koja je napravljena korištenjem Pythona sa Seleniumom. Za vrijeme izrade ovog završnog rada, pokazalo se da je programski jezik Python jedan od najlakših programskih jezika za početak učenja programiranja, zahvaljujući svojoj jednostavnoj sintaksi koja je lako čitljiva i razumljiva. Također se pokazalo da je automatsko testiranje aplikacija bolji izbor od ručnog testiranja jer se smanjuje vrijeme izvođenja testova i da je Selenium kao automatizacijski alat odlična opcija zbog toga što je besplatan, sadrži brojne alate i može raditi na svim operacijskim sustavima i web preglednicima.
Abstract (english)
This undergraduate thesis explores Python programming language and its use with Selenium automation tool. Thesis covers basics of Python programming language from variables to classes and objects, as well as Selenium automation tool, itsusage, syntax, installation and its methods. At the end of this thesis, it is described how to make application for automation of Reddit web page using Python with Selenium. During the work on this undergraduate thesis, it has become apparent that Python programming language is one of the best programming languages for the beginners, thanks to simple syntax that is simple to read and understand. As well, it has become apparent that automatic testing of applications is better choice than manual testing because it reduces test execution time, also that Selenium automation tool is great choice for testing because it is free, it contains numerous tools and can work on all operation systems and web browsers.
