Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada bio je ispitati mehanička svojstva cilindričnih uzoraka metalnih pjena iz aluminijeve legure. U prva dva poglavlja kratko su opisana svojstva i struktura metalnih pjena, te postupci proizvodnje. U trećem poglavlju opisana su mehanička svojstva metalnih pjena iz aluminijevih legura, te ukratko su opisani postupci ispitivanja istih. Opisana su svojstva kao što su: tlačna čvrstoća, vlačna čvrstoća, krutost, apsorpcija energije udara, ponašanje metalnih pjena pri puzanju, itd. U četvrtom poglavlju opširnije je opisana apsorpcija energije udara metalnih pjena, te su opisane analitičke i eksperimentalne metode određivanja apsorbirane energije udara. U petom poglavlju odrađen je eksperimentalni dio završnog rada. Cilindrični uzorci metalnih pjena iz aluminijevih legura ispitivani su na kidalici statičkim tlačnim pokusom. Iz vrijednosti dobivenih s kidalice definirani su dijagrami „tlačnas silapomak“. Numeričkom integracijom izračunata je apsorbirana energija pojedinog uzorka. Vrijednosti apsorbiranih energija udara prikazane su u tablici. Zaključak praktičnog dijela je da kapacitet apsorbirane energije ovisi o gustoći metalne pjene.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this thesis is to examine the mechanical properties of cylindrical samples of metal foams from aluminum alloys. The first two chapters briefly describe the properties and structure of metal foams, as well as the production processes. In the third chapter, the mechanical properties of metal foams from aluminum alloys, and their testing procedures are briefly described. Properties such as: compressive strength, tensile strength, stiffness, absorption of impact energy, creep behaviour of metal foams etc. In the fourth chapter, absorption of impact energy of metal foams is described in more detail, as well as the analytical and experimental methods of determining absorbed impact energy are described. In the fifth chapter, the experimental part of the thesis was done. Cylindrical samples of metal foams from aluminum alloys were tested on a tear machine by a static pressure test. The “pressure force-displacement” diagrams are defined from the values obtained from the tear machine. The absorbed energy of each sample was calculated by numerical integration. The values of absorbed impact energy are shown in the table. The conclusion of the practical part is that the capacity of absorbed energy greatly depends on the density of the metal foam.
