Abstract
U ovome radu opisane su karakteristike i principi rada raspoloživih komercijalnih senzora vlažnosti zemlje koji se najčešće koriste u poljoprivredi i agronomiji, ali i u mnogim društvenim i znanstvenim sferama gdje je potrebno kontrolirati vlažnost tla. Ispitane su njihove mogućnosti i sposobnosti mjerenja i prikupljanja podataka. U tu svrhu realiziran je akvizicijski sustav uz pomoć Arduino razvojne platforme sa zadaćom dugotrajnog prikupljanja izmjerenih podataka, njihove pohrane i daljnjih postupaka obrade. Eksperimenti su odrađeni u laboratorijskim uvjetima, a pokazalo se da se kreirani sustav može koristiti i u praktičnim primjenama. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata izvršena je komparativna analiza točnosti, osjetljivosti, rezolucije i ekonomičnosti za tri prototipna senzora vlažnosti zemlje, a u konačnici je procijenjena njihova konkretna primjenljivost u određenim društvenim područjima, ovisno o zahtjevima koji su definirani za pojedinu vrstu primjene.
Abstract (english)
This master thesis presents the characteristics and operating principles of available commercial soil moisture sensors which are most commonly used in agriculture and agronomy, but also in much more social and scientific spheres where control of soil moisture is necessary. Their capabilities and abilities to measure and collect data were examined as well. For that purpose, an acquisition system was implemented on Arduino developing platform. An Acquisition system had the task of long – term collection of measured data, its storage and further processing. Experiments were performed in laboratory conditions and it was shown that the created system can be used in practical applications. Based on the obtained results, a comparative analysis of accuracy, sensitivity and economy was presented for three prototype soil moisture sensors. In the final part, sensor's applicability in certain social spheres was assessed, depending on the requirements defined for certain application.
