Abstract
U teorijskom dijelu rada objašnjene su prednosti, nedostatci i navedeni načini izrade metalnih pjena. te kako se donekle može utjecati na oblik, veličinu, gustoću i stupanj otvorenosti ćelija kako bi se mogle primjeniti u različitim industrijama, pogotovo automobilskoj. Dok su za noviju metodu oblikovanja metala u polučvrstom stanju objašnjeni problemi na koje treba paziti prilikom izrade alata kako bi proizveli visokokvalitetne komponente za zahtjevne industrijske sektore. U praktičnom dijelu rada je objašnjen način izrade alata za tiksooblikovanje na CNC obradnom centru, te su prikazani svi korišteni alati čiji su preporučeni parametri i značajke za obradu pojedinih materijala navedeni iz kataloga proizvodača.
Abstract (english)
The theoretical part of the paper explains the advantages, disadvantages and listed ways of making metal foams, and how it can somewhat affect the shape, size, density and degree of openness of cells so that they can be applied in different industries, especially automotive ones. While the newer method of metal design in a semi-solid state explains the problems to look out for when creating tools to produce high-quality components for demanding industrial sectors. The practical part explains the method of making tools for thixoforming on the CNC machining center, and presents alt the tools used, the recommended parameters and features for processing individual materials are listed from the catalogue of manufacturers.
