Abstract
Kao jedan od neizbježnih trendova razvoja zdravstva, telemedicina danas zahtijeva veću brzinu prijenosa podataka, veću propusnost te nižu latenciju kako bi zadovoljila potrebe za naprednijim načinima liječenja i dijagnostike. Sa svojim obećavajućim potencijalom za pružanje širokopojasnih veza s malom latencijom, komunikacijski sustav pete generacije s jednom od svojih ključnih tehnika, poznatom kao rezanje mreže može poslužiti kao učinkovito sredstvo prijenosa za ispunjavanje tih telemedicinskih zahtjeva. Tema ovog diplomskog rada je mrežna tehnologija 5G za telemedicinske usluge. U uvodnom dijelu opisan je pojam telemedicine, telemedicinske usluge, tehnologija 5G te mrežno rezanje tehnologije 5G i mrežno rezanje u telemedicini, dok je u praktičnom dijelu opisano planiranje mrežnih resursa za telemedicinske primjene. Pomoću telemedicinskog sustava koji se temelji na rezanju 5G mreže gdje su dvije različite vrste odsječaka dizajnirane i posvećene medicinskim podacima, predlaže se dinamički algoritam za učinkovito dijeljenje mrežnih resursa radijskog pristupa za njihove usluge. Rezultati pokazuju veću propusnost prijenosa medicinskih podataka s nižom latencijom u usporedbi sa standardnim scenarijem prijenosa s 5G, ali bez tehnike rezanja.
Abstract (english)
As one of the inevitable trends in the development of healthcare, telemedicine nowadays requires higher data transmission speed, higher bandwidth, and lower latency in order to meet the needs for more advanced methods of treatment and diagnostics. With its promising potential to provide low latency connections, the fifth-generation communication system with one of its key techniques known as network slicing can serve as an efficient means of transmission to meet these telemedicine requirements. The topic of this thesis is 5G network technology for telemedicine services. The introductory part describes the concept of telemedicine, telemedicine services, 5G technology and network slicing of 5G technology and network slicing in telemedicine, while the practical part describes the planning of network resources for telemedicine applications. Using a telemedicine system based on 5G network slicing where two different types of slices are designed and dedicated to medical data, a dynamic algorithm is proposed to efficiently share radio access network resources for their services. The results show a higher throughput of medical data transmission with low latency compared to the standard transmission scenario with 5G but without cutting technique.
