Abstract
Kao zadatak ovog završnog rada napravljen je jednostavan 3D preglednik. Za navedeno prikazivanje korišten je standardizirani JavaScript API WebGL biblioteke. U ovom završnom radu detaljno je opisan postupak crtanja 3D web objekata te povijesnog razvoja raspoloživih tehnologija za njegovo ostvarivanje. Detaljno je analiziran način na koji radi WebGL tehnologija te je navedena njena današnja primjena, a samo korištenje je objašnjeno uz pomoć temeljitih kodnih primjera. Također nudi pregled naprednijih 3D alata poput Three.js i Babylon.js biblioteka i WebGPU API-ja koji se smatra budućnost računalne grafike. Navode se njihova današnja upotreba te prednosti i nedostatci koje imaju u odnosu na WebGL.
Abstract (english)
The task of this bachelor’s degree project was to develop a simple 3D viewer. The technology used to render the 3D object was WebGL, a standardized JavaScript 3D API supported by all modern-day web browsers. This paper describes in detail the process of drawing threedimensional web objects and the historical development of technologies available for its realization. The way in which the WebGL API works is thoroughly analyzed, and detailed explanations are provided through explicit code examples. It also provides an overview of more advanced 3D libraries such as Three.js and Babylon.js while also giving a brief overview of the WebGPU API, which is considered the future of computer graphics.
