Abstract
U ovom je radu predstavljen koncept upotrebe mikrovalnog zračenja u liječenju tumora. Dana je definicija hipertermije i hipotermije, pri čemu je naglasak stavljen na hipertermiju i postupak liječenja. Nadalje, opisani su biološki učinci elektromagnetskog polja te je predstavljen toplinski model ljudskog tijela, odnosno Pennesova biotoplinska jednadžba. Pennesova biotoplinska jednadžba koristi se za simuliranje zagrijavanja u živom tkivu uslijed induciranog električnog polja. U radu su predstavljeni antenski sustavi u hipertermiji s detaljnim pregledom različitih vrsta antenskih nizova te aplikatora. U analizi iste proučavana je numerička simulacija vaskularizacije krvi, a dodatno su i opisani matematički modeli, toplinski problem kao i rezultati simulacija.
Abstract (english)
This work deals with the concept of using microwave radiation in the treatment of tumours. The definition of hyperthermia and hypothermia was given, with the emphasis put on hyperthermia and treating procedures. Furthermore, the biological effects of the electromagnetic field are described, and the thermal model of the human body is presented, that is, the Pennes bioheat equation. The work itself presents antenna systems in hyperthermia with a detailed overview of the different types of antenna arrays and applicators. A numerical simulation of blood vascularization was presented, and further described mathematical models, a thermal problem as well as simulation results obtained based on the density of the magnetic flux.
