Abstract
U radu je predstavljena D&D full stack web aplikacija. U teoretskom dijelu rada opisane su svaki od dijelova MERN stacka kao što su MongoDB baza za pohranu podataka, NodeJS i ExpressJS biblioteke za izradu backenda te ReactJS biblioteka za izradu dinamičkog i interaktivnog frontenda. Uz MERN stack korištene su dodatne opisane tehnologije u svrhu njihove evaluacije te kao potpora procesu izrade aplikacije. To su TypeScript, React Redux, Socket.io te ChakraUI. U radu je opisan postupak izrade MERN web aplikacije za kreiranje kampanja te karaktera koji sudjeluju u D&D avanturi prikazanoj u tekstualnoj formi korištenjem chat sobe. Korisnik izrađuje račun, prijavljuje se te izrađuje, ažurira, briže te pregledava svoje karaktere i kampanje, pokreće avanturu zajedno sa drugim korisnicima s kojima može sudjelovati u instantnom dopisivanju preko Web Socket protokola. Prilikom izrade aplikacije naučen je kompletan proces izrade potpune full-stack aplikacije, od baze podataka, preko backenda do frontenda. Koristio se te je svladan doprije nepoznat MERN stack te zanimljive tehnologije kao što su React Redux za manipuliranje stanjem cijele aplikacije, Socket.io za korištenje Web Socket protokola te TypeScript kao danas esencijalne i potrebne vještine te biblioteke koju treba znati.
Abstract (english)
The thesis presents D&D full stack web application. In the theoretical part of this paper, each part of the MERN stack is described, such as the MongoDB database for data storage, the NodeJS and ExpressJS libraries for creating the backend, and the ReactJS library for creating a dynamic and interactive frontend. In addition to the MERN stack, the described additional technologies were used for the purpose of their evaluation and as support for the application creation process. These are TypeScript, React Redux, Socket.io and ChakraUI. The paper describes the process of creating a MERN web application for creating campaigns and characters participating in a D&D adventure presented in text form using a chat room. The user creates an account, logs in and creates, updates, cares and reviews his characters and campaigns, starts an adventure together with other users with whom he can participate in instant correspondence via the Web Socket protocol. During the creation of the application, the complete process of creating a full-stack application was learned, from the databasse, through the backend to the frontend. The previously unknown MERN stack and interesting technologies such as React Redux for manipulating the state of the entire application, Socket.io for using the Web Socket protocol, and TypeScript as today's essential and necessary skill and library that should be known, were used and mastered.
