Abstract
U današnje vrijeme u svijetu je sve popularnije korištenje polimernih materijala. Polimerni materijali, poglavito polietilen visoke gustoće (PEHD) nalazi svoju primjenu u vodoopskrbnim sustavima zbog niza prednosti kao što su: vodonepropusnost, fleksibilnost, zavarljivost, neotrovnost i mogućnost recikliranja. PEHD cijevi se izrađuju postupkom ekstrudiranja koji rezultira izradom poluproizvoda koji ima jednak poprečni presjek po čitavoj svojoj dužini. Porastom potražnje za PEHD cijevima, proizvođači se moraju prilagoditi zahtjevima tržišta, tj. moraju proizvesti traženu količinu cijevi uz minimalne proizvodne troškove i u zadanom roku isporučiti cijevi na gradilište. Analizom dimenzija alata za ekstrudiranje polietilenskih cijevi izrađen je alat koji će svojim dimenzijama omogućiti izradu više različitih profila cijevi čime se prognozira značajna ušteda u vremenu tj. očekuje se porast proizvodnosti i smanjenje neizbježne količine škarta koja nastaje uobičajenom zamjenom.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, the use of polymeric materials is becoming more and more popular in the world. Polymeric materials, especially high-density polyethylene (HDPE), are used in water supply systems due to several advantages such as: watertightness, flexibility, weldability, non-toxicity, and recyclability. HDPE pipes are made by an extrusion process which results in the production of a semi-finished product that has the same cross section along its entire lenglth. With the growing demand for HDPE pipes, manufacturers have to adapt to market demands, so they have to produce the required quantity of pipes with minimal production costs and deliver the pipes to the construction site within the set time. By analyzing the dimensions of extruder dies for polyethylene pipes, an extruder head was made that will enable the production of several different pipe profiles, which predicts significant time savings, so productivity is expected to increase and reduce the inevitable amount of scrap caused by common replacement.
