Abstract
U ovom radu istražena je mogućnost primjene računalnih algoritama u obradi spektroskopskih podataka. Cilj rada je razvoj računalnog algoritma za provedbu analize nad apsorpcijskim spektrom proizvoljne zvijezde, odnosno analiza spektroskopskih podataka promatrane zvijezde. Opisani su teorijski temelji spektroskopije, teorijske pozadine alata iz područja računarstva i iz područja astrofizike kojima je moguće utvrditi kemijski sastav, klasu i temperatutru promatrane zvijezde temeljem njenog apsorpcijskog spektra. Implementiran je cijeli niz alata i algoritama, od jednostavnih prema složenijima gdje prevladavaju algoritmi za obradu digitalnih slika s ciljem automatizacije tehnika koje se u klasičnoj spektroskopiji provode ručno. Provedena je analiza uspješnosti i ograničenja realiziranih alata. Realizirano je integrirano konačno rješenje u koje su ugrađeni uspješni algoritmi te je razvijeno sučelje za korištenje i prezentaciju rezultata obrade podataka. Na temelju podataka apsopcijskog spektra promatrane zvijezde realizirano programsko rješenje automatski donosi zaključke o kemijskom sastavu promatrane zvijezde, njenoj klasi i temperaturi te generira izvještaj sa navedenim podacima. Prikazani su rezultati za spektrografske podatke preuzete iz literature te samostalno snimljene spektrografske podatke.
Abstract (english)
This paper has researched the possibility of applying computer algorithms on spectroscopic data. The goal was to develop a computer algorithm for the analysis of the absorption spectrum, or perhaps, the analysis of the spectroscopic data of a given star. In the paper, the theoretical foundations of spectroscopy, the theoretical background of the tools used in computer science and astrophysics which are used to detect the chemical composition, class and temperature based on the absorption spectrum of the observed star, have been thoroughly described. A whole range of simple and complex tools and algorithms have been implemented, where digital image algoritmas predominate, with the aim of automating techniques that are performed manually in classical spectroscopy. Also, An analysis of the performance and limitations of the implemented tools was performed. The final integrated solution, in which all algorithms were built in, was implemented successfully and extended with an interface for the presentation of data processing results. Based on the data about the absorption spectrum, the realized software automatically draws conclusions about the chemical composition of the observed star, it's class and it's temperatur. In the end a report is generated with the stated data. All shown and analyzed data was either self-obtained or taken from literature as stated through the paper.
