Abstract
U ovome radu opisan je sustav aktivnog odvraćanja (ADS sustav) te njegov princip rada. Osim teorijskog djela, korištenjem jednostavnog toplinskog modela simuliran je način rada ADS sustava. Na početku je ADS sustav opisan kao nesmrtonosno oružje koje je razvila američka vojska. Princip rada sustava je elektromagnetsko zračenje milimetarskim valovima frekvencije 94GHz koje izaziva oštar osjećaj boli na površini kože ciljane mete, ali ne ostavlja trajne posljedice. Toplinski je model simuliran korištenjem Matlaba, te su dobiveni grafički rezultati koji potvrđuju kako se u kratkom vremenskom periodu postiže visoki stupanj zagrijanosti površine kože.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the active denial system (ADS system) and its working principle. In addition to the theoretical work, the operation mode of the ADS system was simulated using a simple thermal model. At first, the ADS system was described as a non-lethal weapon developed by the US military. The principle of operation of the system is electromagnetic radiation with millimeter waves of frequency 94GHz, which causes a sharp sensation of pain on the surface of the skin of the target, but does not leave lasting effects. The thermal model was simulated using Matlab, and graphical results were obtained that confirm that a high degree of skin heating is achieved in a short period of time.
