Augmented reality, or XR, is a term used to describe the immersive experiences of users who have been enabled by technology to participate in a new form of reality. As a sub-concept of XR, augmented reality or AR stands out in this paper. It represents an altered form of reality in which the user fully perceives their own real-world environment augmented by digital elements via AR glasses or, more commonly, tablets and smartphones. Precisely because of the availability of the devices used, augmented reality is one of the most widespread technologies in the circle of augmented reality. The applications of all XR technologies are already numerous and they are expected to grow even more in the future. AR extensions of the real world include images, animations, video content, and text. In this paper, augmentations are text-based and provide information on temperature, humidity and soil measured in a single pot using three v2.0 capacitive soil moisture sensors and the same number of AM2302 DHT22 sensors. The collected data is transferred to Amazon's AWS platform, which has a cloud function, using the NodeMCU ESP32 development board managed by the ESPWROOM-32 microcontroller and associated program code. The Python program accesses the incoming data and transfers it to a text file located in the same S3 bucket. Second, a mobile application was created in Unity to detect individual VuMark markers from the plant environment and access a text file from which it extracts and presents information about the desired potted plant.
