Abstract
Ovaj se rad bavio problemom pada učinkovitosti fotonaponskih panela koji se javlja pri povišenim temperaturama fotonaponskih članaka. Učinkovitost panela opada za (0.25 ÷ 0.5)%/°𝐶 i cilj rada je bio predložiti način pasivnog hlađenja pomoću posebno oblikovane konstrukcije odnosno usmjerivača zraka. Cilj usmjerivača je povećati protok zraka tik uz stijenku i na taj način povećati toplinski odvod sa panela. Izradio se numerički model fotonaponskog panela sa i bez usmjerivača te se izvršila njihova usporedba. Zaključilo se kako RANS modeli ne predviđaju dobro turbulencije koje se odvijaju ispod panela i da je nužna veća razina modeliranja odnosno LES. Ovaj model je dosta zahtjevniji po pitanju računalnih resursa, ali zato daje bolje rezultate. Poboljšanja koja su se dobila koristeći ovaj model iznose više od 15% u korist modela sa usmjerivačem. Odrađena je i optimizacija pomoću RANS modela na način da se dimenzionirao usmjerivač s ciljem povećanja protoka zraka uz stijenku panela. Obrađena je i sama numerička pozadina softvera koji se koristio i navele su se prednosti i mane različitih razina modeliranja i modela turbulencije
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the problem of declining efficiency of photovoltaic panels that occurs at elevated temperatures of photovoltaic cells. The efficiency of the panel decreases by (0.25 ÷ 0.5)%/°𝐶 and the aim of this work was to propose a method of passive cooling using a specially designed construction or an air-directing construction. The goal of the construction is to increase the air flow right next to the wall and thus increase the heat flux from the panel. A numerical model of a photovoltaic panel with and without the air-directing construction was made and compared. It was concluded that RANS models do not predict well the turbulence that takes place under the panels and that a higher level of modeling or LES is necessary. This model is much more demanding in terms of computing resources, but therefore gives better results. The improvements obtained using this model are more than 15% in favor of the airdirecting model. Optimization was also done using the RANS model in such a way that the airdirecting construction was dimensioned with the aim of increasing the air flow along the panel wall. The numerical background of the software used was discussed and the advantages and disadvantages of different levels of modeling and turbulence models were stated.
