Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je pretvorba audio zapisa u MIDI kod uz razvoj algoritma harmonizacije po melody-first pristupu. Projekt je realiziran u dva bloka od kojih u prvi blok spada pretvorba audio zapisa u MIDI kod, a u drugi MIDI parsiranje i razvoj algoritma harmonizacije. Algoritam razvija harmoniju samostalno na osnovu trenutnog tona i promatranju budućih tonova, što je najveća razlika između ovog programa i ostalih programskih rješenja unutar ovog područja. Podešavanjem parametara algoritma kao što su okvir predviđanja i okvir bodova za harmonizaciju mogu se dobiti drugačiji rezultati, koji su ovisno o melodiji, od većeg interesa. Praktični dio rada je napisan u cijelosti u python programskom jeziku korištenjem audioto-midi i Mido biblioteke. Alati korišteni za dijagnostiku MIDI koda i algoritma harmonizacije su FL Studios, Data Inspector, MIDIopsy i Vielklang 2 CM. Svi dijelovi programa su open-source i rade na svim računalnim platformama.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this paper is conversion of the audio recording into MIDI code with the development of a harmonization algorithm according to the melody-first approach. The project is realized in two blocks, first of which includes the conversion of audio signals into MIDI code and the second MIDI parsing and development of an algorithm for harmonization. The algorithm develops harmony independently based on the current tone and observing future tones which is the biggest difference between this program and other software solutions within this area. By adjusting the parameters of the algorithms such as the prediction frame and the harmonization point frame, different results can be achieved, which are of greater interest depending on the melody. Experimental part of the paper is written entirely in python programming language using audio-to-midi and Mido libraries. The tools used to diagnose the MIDI code and harmonization algorithm are FL Studios, Data Inspector, MIDIopsy, and Vielklang 2 CM. All parts of the program are open-source and run on all computer platforms.
