Abstract
U ovom projektu ispitana je mogućnost slanja slike sa termalnog modula bežičnom vezom. Sustav je predviđen da snima sliku iz zraka, a prikazuje ju na računalu. Zbog dostupnosti odabrani su nRF24L01+ radio moduli, razvojni sustav mikrokontrolera Teensy i Flir Lepton termalni modul. Predajni sustav se sastoji od termalnog modula koji pribavlja sliku, Teensy-ja koja obrađuje podatke za slanje i radio modula kojim se podaci šalju. Komponente su spojene preko tiskane pločice dizajnirane u KiCad-u koja se napaja preko baterijske ćelije pa je cijeli predajni sustav smješten u 3-D printano kućište. Prijemni sustav se sastoji od radio modula i Teensy-ja 3.6 spojenog na računalo USB vezom. Softver za Teensy je pisan u Arduino IDE-u nadograđen sa Teensyduino dodatkom koji omogućava korištenje tog IDE-a za Teensy sustave. Skripta za prikaz slike je pisana u programskom jeziku Python uz korištenje pyserial paketa za pristup podacima sa USB-a i OpenCV-a za prikaz slike. Nakon testiranja utvrđeno je da je veza prespora i osjetljiva na šum pa je predloženo korištenje drugih, bržih radio modula.
Abstract (english)
In this project, the possibility of sending an image from a thermal module via a wireless connection was examined. The system is designed to stream images from the air and display them on a computer. Due to availability, nRF24L01 + radio modules, Teensy microcontroller development system, and Flir Lepton thermal module were selected. The transmitting system consists of a thermal module that captures images, a Teensy that processes the data to be sent, and a radio module to which transmits the data. The components are connected via a printed circuit board designed in KiCad that is powered by a battery cell, and the entire transmitting system is housed in 3-D printed housing. The receiving system consists of a radio module and a Teensy 3.6 connected to a computer via a USB connection. The Teensy software is written in Arduino IDE with Teensyduino plugin that allows the use of that IDE for Teensy systems. The image display script is written in the Python programming language using a pyserial package to access data from USB and OpenCV for image display. After testing, the connection was found to be too slow and sensitive to noise, so the use of other, faster radio modules was suggested.
