Abstract
Zbog povećane produkcije CO2 i štetnih plinova, kao i tendencije za okretanjem prema obnovljivim izvorima energije koji su cjenovno prihvatljiviji, cilj je bio utvrditi može li se jednostavnim uređajem uz primjenu Arduino mikrokontrolera povećati iskoristivost solarne ćelije. Korištenim uređajem, na osnovi ATmega328 mikrokontrolera i jednostavnog programa napisanog u Arduino IDE programu, uz pomoć servo motora u ovisnosti o očitanju razlike 2 postranično postavljena fotootpornika upravljano je optimalnom pozicijom solarne ćelije te su očitani podaci uspoređivani sa statičnom solarnom ćelijom postavljenom u optimalnu poziciju u odnosu na geografsku poziciju i mjesec u godini. Provedeno ispitivanje za 3 doba dana (8, 12 i 18 sati) svibnja 2021. godine u kojima je dobiveno povećanje ostvarenih vrijednosti u jutarnjim i poslijepodnevnim očitanjima u odnosu na statičnu solarnu ćeliju do prosječnih 4%. Ovakvim jednostavnim i jeftinim uređajem se može povećati dobitak iskoristivosti sunčeve energije.
Abstract (english)
Due to the increased production of CO2 and harmful gases, and the tendency to turn to renewable energy sources that are more affordable, the aim was to determine whether a simple device with the use of an Arduino microcontroller could increase the efficiency of a solar cell. Using the device based on the ATmega328 microcontroller and a simple program written in Arduino IDE the optimal position of the solar cell was controlled via a servo motor depending on the reading of the difference of 2 side-mounted photoresistors and the read data was compared with a static solar cell data placed in the optimal position and month of the year. A test was performed 3 times a day (8, 12 and 18 hours) in May 2021, in which a significant increase in the values was obtained in the morning and afternoon readings compared to the static solar cell to an average of 4%. With such a simple and cheap device, the gain of solar energy efficiency can be significantly increased.
