Abstract
U radu se proučava LoRa modulacija i LoRaWAN mreža te njihova primjena u izradi sustava za automatsko upravljanje vodenom pumpom. Sustav rješava zamišljeni scenarij gdje farmer želi automatizirati punjene posude za vodu za svoje životinje koje se nalaze na udaljenom polju. Farmer također želi da ima uvid u trenutno stanje, tj. trenutnu razinu vode unutar posude, uvid u trenutno stanje vodene pumpe, tj. jeli pumpa aktivirana ili je isključena, te želi postići da mu sustav automatski javi ako je nastala greška, na primjer da se vodena pumpa nije aktivirala iako je posuda za vodu prazna. Arduino mikro kontroler se koristi kako bi napravio čvor na mreži koji je povezan s simuliranim senzorom razine vode. Koristeći Node-RED i The Things Network, farmer prati tok podataka unutar sustava, čime osigurava da uvijek ima mogućnost uvid u trenutnu razinu vode unutar posude, te uvid u stanje vodene pumpe.
Abstract (english)
In this undergraduate thesis, LoRa modulation was analyzed along with the LoRaWAN network. Acquired knowledge was used to design a system that will automatize a water pump system. The system is a solution to an imaginary scenery where a farmer wants to automatize a water pump that distributes water to his animals, which are located on a faraway field. The farmer wants to track the current water level in the animal’s water container, and he wants to track the status of the water pump, that is he wants to see if the water pump is active or inactive. He also wants to be able to see if there is an error in the system, for instance if the water pump is inactive while the water container is completely empty. An Arduino microcontroller board is used to construct a node on the LoRaWAN network, which is connected to a simulated water level sensor. Using Node-RED and The Things Network, the farmer can track the data traffic within the system, which allows him to always have insight into the current water level in the water container, and the current status of the water pump.
