Abstract
U ovom završnom radu na početku su opisane značajke programskog jezika Python. Opisala se i analiza podataka, osnovne činjenice o njoj poput metoda, tehnika i alata analize podataka te procesi analize. Podaci za obradu su bili energetski podaci hidroelektrana sliva rijeke Cetine pohranjeni u Excel datotekama. Opisane su i kroz primjere prikazane faze prikupljanja, obrade i istraživanja podataka te interpretacija rezultata. Praktični dio kroz dokumentiranu izradu pokazuje neke od Pandasovih funkcionalnosti. Budući da su podaci organizirani vremenski, opisan je i vremenski niz podataka te prikazana primjena nekih Pandasovih funkcija na takvom skupu podataka. Na kraju su podaci prikazani grafički pomoću Matplotlib biblioteke i iznesena su zapažanja i obrasci. Zaključkom na samom kraju rada zaokružena je tematika završnog rada – zbog čega je važna analiza podataka kao grana računarstva te kako Python može olakšati cijeli proces analize.
Abstract (english)
To begin with, this bachelor thesis explains features of Python programming language. Data analysis, basic facts about it such as methods, techniques, tools and processes are described. The data for processing was the energy data of the hydroelectric power plants of the Cetina river basin stored in Excel files. Phases of data collection, processing and research and interpretation of the results are described and shown through examples. The practical part of thesis through documented production shows some of Pandas' functionalities. Since the data is organized over time, the structure called Pandas Time Series is described and some of its functions are shown. Finally, the data is presented graphically using the Matplotlib library and observations and patterns are presented. The conclusion at the very end of the paper completes the topic of this bachelos thesis - which is why data analysis is important as a branch of computer science and how Python can facilitate entire process of analyzes.
