Abstract
U ovom završnom radu glavna tema su debeli zakrivljeni štapovi koji se kao konstrukcijski elementi često pojavljuju u inženjerskoj primjeni. Takvi štapovi imaju zakrivljene uzdužne osi koja spajaju težišta svih poprečnih presjeka štapa. Na samom početku daju se uvodne napomene u kojima se opisuju unutrašnje sile, naprezanja i deformacije zakrivljenog štapa. Uspostavljanjem pretpostavki i ograničenja, u središnjem dijelu rada provodi se analiza čistog savijanja za debeli zakrivljeni štap i određuje normalno naprezanje uslijed djelovanja momenta. Prikazani su načini određivanja položaja neutralne osi za nekoliko različitih oblika presjeka zakrivljenih štapova i na kraju su riješeni određeni praktični primjeri na temelju kojih su izvedeni zaključci.
Abstract (english)
This final thesis deals with thick curved beams that are often used as structural elements in engineering applications. These beams have a curved longitudinal axis that are connecting the centers of gravity of all cross sections of the beam. At the beginning some introductory remarks describing internal forces, stress and strain of a curved beams are given. By establishing the assumptions and constraints, in the main part of the work are shown the analysis of pure bending for a curved beam and the correspondigly normal stress due to bending moment are shown. The methods of determining the position of the neutral axis are presented for several different cross-sectional shapes of curved beams, and finally some practical examples are solved to show derived conclusions.
