Abstract
Za izradu ovog diplomskog rada korišten je skup MERN tehnologija te GraphQL. Skupinu MERN tehnologija čine 4 tehnologije, a to su: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js i Node.js. MongoDB je objektno-orijentirana, jednostavna, dinamična i skalabilna NoSQL baza podataka koja se temelji na NoSQL modelu skladišta dokumenata. Express.js je modularni web okvir za Node.js koji se koristi za lakše stvaranje web aplikacija i usluga. React.js besplatna je i open-source frontend JavaScript biblioteka za izgradnju korisničkih sučelja ili komponenti korisničkog sučelja. Za dizajn aplikacije korišten je CSS. Node.js prvenstveno se koristi za neblokirajuće poslužitelje upravljane događajima zbog svoje single-threaded prirode. Koristi se za tradicionalne web stranice i backend API usluge, ali je osmišljen imajući u vidu push-based arhitekture u stvarnom vremenu. GraphQL omogućuje da se u jednom upitu zatraži ono što se želi, čime se štedi propusnost i smanjuje broj zahtjeva. Također omogućuje klijentima da zatraže vlastite jedinstvene specifikacije podataka. Zbog boljeg razumijevanja opisanih tehnologija, u sklopu praktičnog dijela diplomskog rada izrađena je web aplikacija KupiProdaj.hr koja služi za dijeljenje i pregled različitih kategorija oglasa. Aplikacija sadrži autentikaciju, prijavu, registraciju, mogućnost kreiranja oglasa, pretraživanje, filtriranje, pregled detalja o oglasu te svaki korisnik može izbrisati svoj oglas. MERN skup tehnologija se pokazao kao fleksibilno rješenje za ovakav tip aplikacije te je time opravdao svoju popularnost.
Abstract (english)
A set of MERN technologies and GraphQL were used to create this master's thesis. The group of MERN technologies consists of 4 technologies, namely: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js. MongoDB is an object-oriented, simple, dynamic and scalable NoSQL database based on the NoSQL document repository model. Express.js is a modular web framework for Node.js that is used to facilitate the creation of web applications and services. React.js is a free and open-source frontend JavaScript library for building user interfaces or user interface components. CSS was used to design the application. Node.js is primarily used for non-blocking event-driven servers due to its single-threaded nature. It is used for traditional websites and backend API services, but is designed keeping in mind the push-based architecture in real time. GraphQL allows you to request what you want in a single query, which saves bandwidth and reduces the number of requests. It also allows customers to request their own unique data specifications. Due to a better understanding of the described technologies, as part of the practical part of the thesis, a web application KupiProdaj.hr was created, which is used to share and view different categories of ads. The application contains authentication, login, registration, the ability to create ads, search, filter, view ad details and each user can delete their ad. The MERN set of technologies has proven to be a flexible solution for this type of application and has thus justified its popularity.
