Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je testiranje baseband softvera za LTE/NR tehnologije. U uvodnom dijelu obrađena su poglavlja povjesti mobilnih mreža, mobilne mreže prve, druge te treće generacije. Detaljnije su obrađena poglavlja mreža četvrte i pete generacije. Testiranje softvera tj. praktični dio ovog rada odrađen je u tvrtci Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Opisana je procedura nadogradnje softvera eNB-a, od učitavanja softverskog paketa na ENM, preko izrade sigurnosne kopije pa do same nadogradnje softvera. Prikazalna su dva testa prijelaz poziva s jedne ćelije na drugu na istom eNB-u, te prijelaz poziva s jednog eNB-a na drugi eNB. Također smo i odradili jedan neuspješni test da vidimo što će se točno dogoditi kada svi preduvjeti za prijelaz poziva nisu ispunjeni. Test će uspijeti ako se poziv nastavi nesmetano odvijati s istom kvalitetom govora. Testovi su odrađeni u laboratoriju.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this graduate thesis is the testing of baseband software for LTE / NR technologies. The introductory part deals with the chapters of confidential mobile networks, first, second and third generation mobile networks. The chapters of the fourth and fifth generation networks are discussed in more detail. Software testing, the practical part of this paper, is reflected in the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The procedure for upgrading the eNB software is described, from loading the software package on the ENM, through making backups to the same software upgrade. The two tests show the handover of a call from one cell to another on the same eNB, and the handover of a call from one eNB to another eNB. We also did one failed test to see what exactly will happen when all the prerequisites for call transfer are not met. The test will succeed if the call continues uninterrupted with the same speech quality. The tests were performed in the laboratory.
