Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada dizajn i implementacija web aplikacije koja će omogućiti rezervacije stola u ugostiteljskim objektima. Poseban naglas zadatka bio je na razvoju aplikacijske logike kojom će se omogućiti konfiguracija rasporeda od strane ugostitelja. Aplikacija je razvijena temeljem MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) stoga i cijelog niza modernih alata i proširenja koja su olakšala razvoj. U radu je opisan dizajn aplikacije kroz opise funkcionalnih i nefunkcionalnih zahtjeva, specifikaciju arhitekture te dizajn korisničkog sučelja i modela podataka. Opisan je tijek razvoja aplikacije te su demonstrirane funkcionalnosti, mogućnosti i ograničenja razvijanog sustava. Prikazana je osnovna funkcionalnost rezervacije stola, kao i funkcionalnosti koje se odnose na vlasnika, poput dodavanja stola u sustav ili prilagodbe pravila vezanih za rezervacije. Na temelju demonstriranih prilagodbi dan je uvid u funkcioniranje cjelokupnog sustava. I serverska i klijentska strana aplikacije testirane su odgovarajućim alatima. Aplikacijska logika testirana je na nekoliko slučajeva realnih pravila rezervacije.
Abstract (english)
This master's thesis tackles design and implementation of web application that will enable table reservations in specific restaurants. Special emphasis of the task was the development of application logic that will enable configuration of the schedule by the restaurant owner. The application was developed based on the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) stack and a whole series of modern tools and extensions that made development easier. The paper describes the design of the application through the descriptions of functional and non-functional requirements, the specification of the architecture, and the design of the user interface and data model. The application development process is described and the functionalities, possibilities and limitations of the developed system are demonstrated. The basic functionality of table reservation was shown, as well as functionalities related to the owner, such as adding a table to the system or adjusting the rules related to reservations. Based on the demonstrated adjustments, an insight into the functioning of the entire system was given. Both server and client side of application were tested with appropriate tools. The application logic was tested on several cases of real reservation rules.
