Abstract
U radu se analiziraju i optimiraju radne karakteristike brzokretnog benzinskog motora s ciljem boljeg uspjeha na Formula Student natjecanjima. Istraživanje se provodi u tri glavna koraka. Prvi korak bi bilo modeliranje četverotaktnog četverocilindarskog motora iz motocikla Honda CB600F zapremine 600cm3 u programskom paketu AVL Boost u svrhu povećanja performansi bolida FRT03. Slijedeći korak bi bio iterativni postupak optimizacije performansi motora promjenom faznih kutova usinih i ispušnih brjegova na bregastom vratilu te pomakom vremena početka otvaranja usisnih i završetka zatvaranja ispušnih ventila. Treći korak bi bio verifikacija dobivenih rezultata što je napravljeno izradom modela u programu OptimumLap te simulacijom na stazi FSAE Autocross Germany. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata donosi se zaključak o implementaciji dobivenih rezultata i doradi dijelova motora.
Abstract (english)
This work analyzes and optimizes the working characteristics of a high-speed gasoline engine with the aim of better success at Formula Student competitions. The research is conducted in three main steps. The first step would be to model a four-stroke four-cylinder engine from a Honda CB600F motorcycle with a volume of 600cc in the AVL Boost software package in order to increase the performance of the FRT03 car. The next step would be an iterative process of performance optimization by changing the phase angles of the intake and exhaust cams on the camshaft and shifting the timing of the intake opening and exhaust valve closing. The third step would be the verification of the obtained results, which was done by creating a model in the OptimumLap program and by simulating it on the FSAE Autocross Germany track. Based on the obtained results, a conclusion is made about the implementation of the obtained results and modifications of engine parts.
