Abstract
U ovom radu provedena je simulacija, dizajn i mjerenje lijevak antene. Lijevak antena se sastoji od cilindričnog valovoda unutar kojega je postavljena pregrada s ciljem pobuđenja dva ortogonalna moda (desna i lijeva cirkularna polarizacija). Za monopol je korištena konusna izvedba. Simulacija je izrađena u programu FEKO, a nisko budžetna izrada antene je provedena u laboratoriju (limenka Pringlesa, karton, aluminijska folija, izolir traka ). Zadatak je bio izraditi antenu sa što sličnijim karakteristikama onima u simulaciji. Proračun simulacije nije se u potpunosti poklapao s mjerenjem zbog nesavršenosti u izradi antene i razlike u mjernoj okolini (simulacija je u slobodnom prostoru, a mjerenje je provedeno u laboratoriju sa mnogo raspršivača). Dimenzije antene su se skalirale kako bi se što više približile idealnim vrijednostima simulacije. Za mjerenje karakteristika antene korišten je VNA uređaj. Izmjereni su osnovni parametri antene ( VSWR, impedancija, polarizacija ). Provedena je kalibracija s ciljem dobitka što preciznijih i točnijih rezultata. Izmjerena je izolacija portova. Iz rezultata je vidljivo da se pregrada unutar valovoda mogla bolje optimizirati. Nakon mjerenja karakteristika lijevak antene, dodatno je na VNA uređaj spojena druga komercijalna antena sa svrhom mjerenja impulsnog odziva između izrađene i komercijalne antene. Dobiveni su gubici u slobodnom prostoru te je procijenjen dobitak antene.
Abstract (english)
In this paper was performed simulation and measurement of antenna funnels. The antenna funnel consists of a cylindrical waveguide within which a barrier is placed with the aim of exciting two orthogonal models (right and left circular polarization ). A conical design was used for the monopole. The simulation was made in the FEKO program and the low cost antenna was made in laboratory (Pringles can , cardboard, aluminium foil, insulating tape) The task was to make an antenna with as similar characteristics as possible to those in the simulation. The calculation of simulation did not completely coincide with the measurement due to imperfections in the antenna design and the differences in the measurement environment (the simulation is in free space, and the measurements was performed in laboratory with many atomizer). The dimensions of antenna were scaled to get as close as possible to the ideal simulation values. A VNA was used to measure the antenna characteristics. The basic antenna parameters were measured (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio, input impedance, circular polarization ). Calibration was performed in order to obtain the most accurate and accurate results. Port isolation was measured. The results show that the barrier within the waveguide could have been better optimized. After measuring the characteristics of the antenna funnel,a second commercial antenna was additionally connected to the VNA device for the purpose of measuring the impulse response between the manufactured and the commercial antenna. Losses in free space were obtained and the antenna gain was estimated.
